Jenny Lake Trailhead

South Jenny Lake is 8 miles north on the Teton Park Rd from Moose Junction. The trailhead is located next to the east boat dock and provides access to the core of the Teton backcountry.

Jenny Lake Shuttle Boats

Jenny Lake Boat Dock

Jenny Lake Boating provides shuttle services across Jenny Lake at the base of Mount Teewinot.  On the West side of the lake you will find the Cascade Canyon trailhead.  There are trails from the boat dock to Hidden Falls (1/2 mile each way), Inspiration Point (1 mile each way) and into Cascade Canyon that leads North to Solitude Lake or South to the South Fork of Cascade Canyon, and beyond to Hurricane Pass and Schoolroom Glacier.

The shuttle boat eliminates a 2-mile hike (each way) to the Cascade Canyon trailhead, thereby saving time and energy for your hiking day.

Shuttles run every 10-15 minutes throughout the day.  The last boat will leave the dock at the posted closing time.

Reservations are not taken as the boats run continuously throughout the day.  Come to the East Boat Dock, purchase the fare, and board the boat.

Options are available to take the shuttle round-trip (over and back with hiking time between); One-way from either East or West dock (ride the boat one way and hike one way).  It is possible to hike to Hidden Falls and then take the shuttle to return to the East side of the lake.  Simply hop on the next boat and pay at the counter on the East Dock.

Jenny Lake Lodge

Bring a touch of luxury to your national park experience by staying at Jenny Lake Lodge, a AAA Four-Diamond resort at the foot of the Teton Range. The historic cabins at Jenny Lake Lodge are elegant, private, and relaxing – the perfect blend of modern comfort and Old West charm.

Jenny Lake Overlook

North of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Jenny Lake pools below the highest towering peaks of the Teton Range. The Jenny Lake Overlook provides the perfect vantage point to take in the high mountains and the cold glacial waters in one spot.

On a quiet day, you can hear the waterfalls across the lake as they tumble down towards the earth. You can also watch as the Jenny Lake Tour Boats meander across to the other side and drop hikers off at the Cascade Canyon docks. If you are driving through on Teton Park Road, the Jenny Lake Overlook is the perfect stop to get out and take in the panoramic vistas of the Teton Range.

Jenny Lake Campground

This small campground is a few hundred yardss from the east shore of Jenny Lake. The sites sit on a glacial moraine covered by an open forest of lodgepole pine, subalpine fir and Douglas fir. Across the lake Teewinot Mountain, Cascade Canyon and Mount St.John dominate the landscape.
